Dear students, This week you should have started work on Assignment 1, the classification of an author`s works. You should first draw your outline and then write your essay. It should be between 400 and 500 words, and it should contain at least one summary, one paraphrase, and one quotation. All of these should be accompanied by intext citation markers in MLA format. At the end of your essay,  you should include a `Works Cited` which lists the source of your citations. Your `Works Cited` should also by formatted in MLA. Finally, please count your words and write this on your paper. Today, you will do some exercises in the textbook before you begin learning about persuasive writing. Kind regards, Chris Elvin
